Upon graduating from the Columbus College of Art and Design – which he attended on full scholarship – DKM was snapped up by American Greetings in Cleveland where he quickly rose from staff artist to art director. It was there he polished his digital and traditional styles. Then on to a creative director position in New York City where he designed major billboards for Times Square.

Since then DKM has established his own design/illustration company and has been working in publishing and media for the better part of a decade. He now resides on Central Park South in Manhattan where he devotes himself entirely to freelance endeavors and walking in the park.

DKM’s work has been exhibited at Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles. He has been featured in New York Home magazine as “an artist to watch”. His clients include: Simon and Schuster, Doubleday, Pfizer, Trigger Street Productions, and PBS.
