Christina Siravo specializes in colorful watercolor illustration, with themes including animals, fashion, fantasy, and vintage style. In addition she recently illustrated for Kappa publishing specializing in pen & ink drawing styles- food illustration and Art Deco. She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from the Maine College of Arts in 2005 and since has provided illustration and design for Re-ment miniatures, Peppermint Magazine, Threadless.com and many more. Her experience with illustration includes over 7 children’s books (and counting), including her own comic book adaptation of “Little Red Riding Hood”. Her first publication was in 2006 with Second Star Creations, “An Orphan’s Promise”- a Christmas Story, and most recently with Legworkteam Publishing, for whom she has illustrated several full color children’s books in both traditional and digital mediums.
Christina’s works cover a wide spectrum of styles including: fantasy, whimsical, cute “Kawaii”, sc-fi, cartooning, realism, and Vintage inspired illustration. She draws inspiration from by-gone eras, dreams, fairy tales, animals, vintage children’s books, and the realm of her vivid imagination.
